How to Repair iPhone Stuck on Verifying Updates ?

Every device needs to be updated on a regular basis in order to get the latest additional features. It also removes some of the minor issues related to your device. Most of the iPhone and other iOS users claimed that they face device stuck while updating issues. Here is how you can troubleshoot the issues found in your device during verifying updates.


The Stucking issues on your device


You can see that your iPhone takes a few minutes to verify your updating procedure through your device’s settings. Here it will take some time to complete the process before installing the newest version of iOS updates to your phone. When the verification procedure finishes, it will automatically start to install on your smartphone.


If your iOS device gets stuck at the verification process of downloading updates, you may follow some of these methods given below.


Setting up your iPhone


You should do these tasks before starting the troubleshooting process:


First of all, check whether your smartphone is fully charged or not.

Make sure you have a strong wireless/ Wi-Fi connection.

Make enough space on your device as needed to install your system updates.

Make sure that you have completed the backup process before restoring your iPhone.

Fixes:


1. Locking & waking your smartphone


Follow these steps to fix the issue through your smartphone’s power button:


First of all, tap the Power button of your device.

If your device is locked, then wake it up.

After turning it to wake mode, do these above steps back to back. It may take five to ten repeats of these points to fix this issue. Then you have to set up your device and attempt to update the operating system again.

2. Fixing the issue by resetting & rebooting method


First of all, tap and hold the smartphone’s Home & wake/sleep buttons together.


Press and hold both buttons until you see that your iPhone’s screen.

Then you have to release all the buttons until you see the Apple icon on your iPhone’s screen.

Once your device rebooted successfully, navigate to Settings, and then hit the “General” tab. After that, choose the “About” option.

Restoring your device also removes many of the damaging bugs from your device’s software. For this method, you should take a backup of your important data on your system. Follow these steps to perform this:


First of all, make a backup folder to your computer.

Now you have to connect your smartphone to the computer.

Then shift all your important backup files to the folder in a manual way that you have created on your system.

Then you have to open iTunes and hit the device tab.

Now press on the “Summary” tab and choose the “Restore iphone” option. You may select the backup file from there to restore.

3. Fixing the Stuck issue through Dr. Fone recovery software


In order to troubleshoot this common issue, you have to install Dr. Fone.


1- Make sure that you have successfully downloaded Dr. Fone on your Computer.

2- Now you have to connect your smartphone to the system and open Dr. Fone on it.

3- Then hit the “System Recovery” tab located on your Dr. Fone’s home window and follow all the on-screen directions to finish the procedure.
